У статті аналізуються причини і наслідки українського голоду 1928–1929 рр. Автор обгрунтовує висновок про те, що хоча цей голод і відбувався на тлі недородів, головною його причиною стала голодотворна політика радянської влади.

The article analyzes the causes and consequences of Ukrainian famine 1928–1929. The author justifies the conclusion that, although the hunger and proceeded against the background of crop failures, the main cause was the faminogenic policy of the Soviet government. Imperial intensions «on anti-national soil» (Roman Shporliuk), as well as colonial dependence of Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Respublic, can not be determined as single reason of hunger in 1928–1929 and, ex post facto, Great Famine in 1932–1933, but must be examined in one row with totalitarianism, communism, to the genocide and others like that. The analysis of the numerous archived documents proves at the same time, that, obviously, exactly through the prism of colonialism it is possible to explain those substantial divergences between all-union and Ukrainian situations, that was folded in the conditions of poor harvests and hunger 1927/28 and 1928/29.
